Be sure to tell them ARK sent you! #ARKforCupid Cupid is an almost 3-year old, 50+-pound lab mix female located in Brockton, MA. She is very friendly as shelter staff and volunteers can testify! She is so sweet and precious, she gives great hugs, and her eyes are most expressive. A message from Cupid: Hi ARK Friends! It's Cupid, again. That's right, I am back but I promise it's not my fault! If you remember, I lived at the Animal Protection Center of Southern Massachusetts for a long, long time, but landed a long-term foster gig early this year. I really liked it there and was a good girl (mostly, hey nobody's perfect!), but the nice man has a tough work schedule. We learned that I need an environment that is more stable and consistent. So I am back where my old buddies are taking me on field trips, play dates, and pack walks as much as they can. Still, I would love to be adopted for realz this time. I'm a very smart dog who loves learning new things and solving problems. I enjoy any type of food puzzle. Seems like I can find a treat anywhere, so I'm thinking of taking up scent work in my spare time. (I have a cute nose by the way!) You can hide treats all over the yard or house for me. Let's browse for DIY dog-friendly activities, too! I am best-suited for a small, active family that's outgoing and would enjoy being outdoors with me. All of my favorite things involve the outdoors, such as hiking, walking, and swimming. I am not suited for young kids, but teens who can help with consistency would be fun to play with. Now, as far as fur-siblings, it'll take a while for a symbiotic relationship, you'll just have to watch over me until I am used to things. I am ok around horses, but no cats or rabbits for me! My foster dad likened me to a toddler that you need to watch and be one step ahead of at all times. Truth be told I can be a handful and harbor puppy tendencies.
