About Leena

When Hurricane Florence was heading towards the Carolinas we answered please from a coastal SC shelter to help them clear out so they could make room for displaced pets. We are always happy to help when we can! We took in 10 cats/kittens to give them a hand. Leena was one of ten cats who came to us from a South Carolina shelter when hurricane Florence was headed in their direction and they needed help to clear out their facility to make room for displaced pets. Leena has only been with us a short time and she was clearly confused and somewhat fearful of her new surroundings. With quiet encouragement from our staff and volunteers, she is responding slowly and showing us the sweet girl she really is. This is a young cat, only about one year old, so time is on her side. We think patience and a soft approach will win this girl's heart and she will evolve into a confident cat and a loyal friend for some lucky person or family.
