About Apollo

Apollo is 2 years old American pit bull terrier mix. He is a sweetie & fun boy but has not grown out of his puppy stage yet. He has lots of energy, due to this. Apollo is deteriorating in his kennel & now is at risk to be euthanized on 9/12. Apollo was adopted & returned because he bit someone. They said it was dark in the house so when they came in they believe it startled him causing him to bite. The previous owner said that Apollo did fine with his cats & he mainly just ignored them he knows how to sit & lay down,takes treats gently. Apollo did well in his doggy assessment & has a rough & rowdy style of playing, tend to be too much for some dogs. Apollo would do best in a home with older children due to the fact he's so strong & high energized. He tends to jump & can be mouthy when playing. Apollo needs someone willing to be patient with him & provide him with training to work on his manners.
