About FREYER

Adoption Fee: $550
Black Mouth Cur / Belgian Malinois
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

FREYER was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas where dogs have just 3 dogs to be saved and transported to the rescue in Sebec, Maine. FREYER is spayed, core vaccines, rabies, de-wormed, monthly preventatives and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 21 January 2019 and at the time of rescue in the end of August 2019, weighed around 33.00 pounds. The shelter has a breed listing of Shepherd / Black Mouth Cur Mix. We have no way of knowing the exact breed, it is up to individuals to decide what breed they think is most likely. FREYER arrived at the rescue on Thursday, 12th September and settled in great. She is a very happy, fun, active and loving girl. She loves to chase, wrestle and play with the other dogs, she can get a bit rough with the smaller ones, but once they let her know that is enough, she does back off and will go and chase and play with someone else. She shares her double kennel with Buster and they get on great, they sleep cuddled up together, play together, share toys food and water with no worries. FREYER is a high energy girl and will need a family that understands the importance of not just training, but also mental stimulation, along with of course, an active lifestyle to give her what she needs to be happy and healthy throughout her life. FREYER is a smart girl and it won't take long to train her and work on boundaries, expectations and such. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO COMMENT HOW SHE WILL BE AROUND CATS OR LIVESTOCK. FREYER is available for adoption for an adoption fee of US $550. This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, transport from Texas to Maine, monthly preventatives, supplements, food, general day to day cost of running a brick and mortar rescue and anything else that is needed. Canadian adopters need to know that customs charge 15% taxes when entering into Canada.
