About Sparky and Elvis

Adoption Fee: $650
Chihuahua mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Two rescues are working together to keep these two boys together. Sparky is the tan and brown Chihuahua mix believed with Beagle. He is around a year old. He was found wandering the streets of Flint with no microchip or dog tags, and after a stray hold he became part of the rescue. He is neutered, up to date with his vaccinations, Heart worm and fecal tested, and is micro chipped. Sparky is fearful of men so any males must go slow with him but once he does trust a man all the fears go away, Sparky does have a foster Dad. Sparky's best buddy is Elvis and they absolutely love to play together. So the rescues are working to keep them in the same home. Elvis was a owner surrender who's owner could not longer care for him and unfortunately neglected him. Elvis was i rough shape when he came into the rescue. He was fearful to start with but nothing a little singing and a lot of love couldn't fix. He hardly had any fur on him. He had fleas so badly that his skin was very dry. His nails were extremely long. Elvis is 8 years old and 3 lbs of a Hunka Hunka Burnin Love! He and Sparky are in the same foster home being well cared for and dearly loved. Sparky is through Michigan Animal crew rescue and Elvis is through Mama Dog Rescue. Both rescues work as a team to save more lives. They each have individual adoption fees and the rescues are willing to work with adopters should a doubled fee be too much all at once and willing to break up the adoption fees into payments to keep these two guys together.
