About Milo

Mr Milo is a handsome 3 year old, 14 pound, black and tan boy who is looking for a home that will love him forever. Milo has a wonderful disposition and he loves to snuggle and play A bit of a tease, Milo has a great time playing with the other dogs in his foster home and will sneak their toys away! He gets along very well with children and other dogs of all sizes. Milo has not been cat tested. A lover of the great outdoors Milo would love a home that will take him for walks and spend lots of time with him. He enjoys sniffs in the yard of his foster home in Mississippi. Like most dachshunds, Milo has some separation anxiety and will chew on things if he is left alone. Milo eats at super speed and will need a 'slow feeder' in his forever home to slow him down a bit. Milo is crate trained and never has an accident in his crate, however, he is working on becoming completely house trained. Like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in their environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.
