About Harriett

Harriett is a 4yr old female 'shorty bull' who is short and squatty. Folks are breeding English or French Bulldogs with Pit Bull Terriers to come up with this look. This girl is 54 lbs but you would think she is 35lbs she is so short. She is a Tank! Harriett originally Harriett belonged to a Handyman for the Rescue. She wandered up to his house pregnant, and we spayed her and rehomed the pups for him. This was a couple years ago. She had no hair due to mange hence the name he gave her was Harriett. Yes he has a sense of humor. Harriett came to us and we treated her for heartworms. She is now in good health and ready for a home of her own again. This has been really hard on her. Harriett would prefer a quiet home with no cats or small dogs. She is ok with dogs her size or larger. She is not very dominant, but can sometimes be bossy. She currently lives with a Corgi mix male, a Golden Retriever female, and a Pit Bull mix female. They all get along. She is not food aggressive so that is good. Harriett is VERY protective of her home and property. She is used to being an outdoor dog, but has learned to love being inside as well. She is happy to be in either situation. Recommended for a home where there are not many visitors, as she takes a couple minutes to warm up to people. Her adoption fee is $150.
