About Millie

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Millie has been fostered in State College and is an absolute love. She does have a lot of energy, so a fenced in backyard with another canine companion is very helpful. Otherwise she will need an active family to keep her life enriched and happy. She loves to snuggle and play tug of war and is learning fetch. She walks well on leash, though is still working on staying close. She loves long walks in the forest. Millie is great with people, dogs and kids, and is good with cats. She has learned to sit and lie down, and she loves to prance alongside you for a treat. Working on fun tricks like fetch the squeaker, squeak the squeaker, drop it , and pull on command. She is so eager to learn, that the act of training is rewarding on its own. With her strength and skill, she would make a fabulous support dog who can learn just about any command or an agility partner. Millie is a 1-2 year old Lab mix weighing 45 lbs. She is current on vaccines, spayed, and heartworm negative. Pros- cat, dog, and kid friendly!! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
