About Lou

** Please come meet me at our next adoption event on Saturday, November 16 from 10 am - 1 pm at Rural King in Elyria, 430 Oberlin Road. If you are possibly interested in taking home your new best friend that day, please complete an adoption application for approval by Thursday, November 14.** Meet Lou! He is a 5 year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix (we believe). He came to us from a humane case. He is underweight and has some fur missing but we're not sure why. He's very shy and timid but once he knows he's safe, he is SUCH a lover. His favorite thing is to lay on the back of the couch right by your shoulders. He also loves belly rubs and ear rubs. Lou's dislikes are being crated, being left alone, and car rides, but we are working on these things. He is doing well at potty training. Lou is still learning to play, although he's showing glimpses of silliness! He enjoys some treats like cottage cheese, yogurt, or pumpkin in his food to help make his coat shiny and maybe help him gain a couple pounds. Lou's ideal home would be a quiet and calm house with minimal time left alone. If you're loving and patient, and looking for a dog who needs 'rescued' in every sense of the word, Lou is your guy. He will return the favor tenfold with kisses and snuggles and you will be His Person.
