About Bella

Bella is truly a very sweet girl. Quite playful and energetic. She loves to chew on ropes or go out and hunt for lizards. She is leash trained and does well with commands. She was house trained when we took her in. From day one she has more or less been a 'one person dog' and commands must be clear and sharp. We knew when we rescued her 3.5yrs ago that she had some baggage. Being a Black Lab, she has a considerable case of separation anxiety. She needs a patient human that can give her boundaries, routine, and activity. We are extremely heart broken over having to make the decision to say goodbye to her, but due to a few medical procedures coming up in the near future, we can no longer give her the time she requires and will not be able to financially afford her. We think she will do best going to a home with someone whom can give her the attention she is going to need and potentially someone who maybe works from home would be a great fit. Someone familiar with the disposition of black labs would be best. She likes her routines. We haven't had her tested to confirm if she is pure black lab or not. She is good with other dogs but gets fed up with really high 'in-your-face' energy levels. I put an amount in the price column to support this site. We will match a donation if you are so inclined.
