Rat Terrier mix
Age: Young Puppy

Trixie Small breed 20lbs 16 weeks old Potty Trained and Crate Trained Hello my name is Trixie. I am a 16 week old terrier mix puppy. I came into rescue 8 weeks ago with my fur siblings from a rural area of TN. They have all found their forever families but unfortunately I am still waiting for my forever family to find me. If you are looking for a fun loving, super smart, energetic girl then I am the pup for you. I sure do love my food and treats, which will help with my training. I really enjoy playing and would make a great companion for any girl or boy who is looking for that special best friend. I have yet to meet a dog I don't like. Playing really is my favorite pastime activity. I have never met a stranger. In fact humans of all sizes make my tail wiggle and waggle at a high rate of speed. Even though I have lots of energy to explore and play I have been told I am a snuggler who would have no problem curling up on your lap for a nice afternoon nap. Do I sound like the perfect pup for you? Then don't delay!! My foster mom says with qualities such as mine I will have an adoption in no time. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
