ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FOR MURRAY: REQUIRES CANNED FOOD. REQUIRES EXTRA VETERINARY CARE. WOULD DO BEST IN QUIET HOUSEHOLD. TOLERATES OTHER DOGS BUT WOULD DO WELL AS AN ONLY DOG. KIDS OVER AGE 15. 10 year old male PomChi, about 11 pounds. Sweet, quiet boy that loves to EAT. He came into rescue in horrible shape. So bad in fact, that we thought he might end up being hospice. He had rotten teeth, yeasty skin, very skinny and coughing. We ended up pulling all but two of his teeth. His skin and coat are almost back to normal due to a course of antibiotics and a high quality diet. His cough turned out to be the start of collapsing trachea which is controlled with one cough suppressant every 5 days or so. He doesn't require much exercise and would love to be a lap dog. Ignores cats. Good with dogs and people. Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
