About BUD

I'm sorry to bud you, but I want to bring attention to BUD (#A1874366), who may get overlooked in the shelter, because he spends the majority of each day in the kennel cubby trying to remain incognito. And with eyes that resemble those of an aye-aye primate (bottom right picture), people might be confused about his breed and simply pass him by. Bud, that is all beside the point. The point is that BUD is a gentle 5-year-old who has been in the shelter system since July 10, when he was surrendered. Once he is coaxed out of the cubby, he is a dream to walk on leash. He looks up for guidance and listens well. BUD may not lavish you with licks and affection, at least for a while, bud when he comes to sit at your feet, you'll know his trust in you is budding. Please consider being BUD's buddy, forevermore. He's at the East Valley Animal Shelter, 14409 Vanowen St., Van Nuys, CA. At least ask to meet him and enjoy his sweetness. -
