About Dabney

Adorable Dabney is a little fellow weighing in at just three pounds. He is one of 25 rabbits rescued from the city of Ontario. A former neighbor moved and released two rabbits and they multiplied and were running amok in the neighborhood without proper food, water, shelter, medical attention. Many of his fellow rabbit relatives did not survive hawks, owls, coyotes and such. Anyway, Dabney is a wonderful bunny who loves to greet you at the edge of his enclosure. He does like to be petted and is a real snuggle bunny. And how can anyone resist the wiggly, white nose and the one white paw! Not to mention the tuft of fur between his ears indicative of a lion head mix bunny! He is a calm, docile, friendly guy. He would do OK as a single bunny, or if your existing bunny needs a mate he would probably be an easy fit. I can't brag enough about this sweet, small rabbit. He is truly a treasure waiting for you to spoil him all the days of his life! His estimated date of birth is February 2019. If Dabney can't be free roaming or live in a room or a section of a room, then an x-pen enclosure or home made DIY grid system enclosure is a suitable alternative. A cage/hutch is not recommended. * * * * * * * * * * * * * Dabney can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore. Or, delivery is also available to greater Southern California region. The adoption fee is $60 which helps cover the cost of his neuter surgery. Any additional donations to keep the rescue afloat are appreciated.
