About Copper

My name's Copper, and I'm a hound dog, Bow-Wow wow! I'm a young Rottweiler/hound dog mix who came to my foster mom from rural GA where I kicked it in the countryside with my sister, Paisley. She recently went to her forever home in florida! As for me? I'm still looking... but I've made new friends at my foster home! I live with two big (old) brothers and a cat. We all get along very well! My foster siblings like me because I'm very laid back, and honestly kind of lazy, like my big brothers! I spend a lot of time laying around and chewing on bones. I hardly every bother my cat sister and she likes that too. Mom likes me because I'm so sweet and soft. I love belly rubs and head scratches and any kind of love really! She also likes that I howl at sirens when they go by. I like to follow her around and like any good puppy, I'm curious about a lot. I like to explore and see what I can get into, and though I have a lot of toys, I just love to chew so much that sometimes I chew things that arent puppy toys... but other than that I'm a pretty darn good puppy if you ask me! My foster mom tells me she's impressed with how kind and easy going I am. I love to please and I always sit on command before putting my leash on, I sit and wait politely for my meals, I don't jump on the furniture, but cuddle in bed when invited. I'm totally house trained and crate trained too! I'm a really great puppy and I can't wait to find my forever home! I love my person very much and I can't wait to find that person, I know we'll be very very close. I know you're out there, I'll be waiting patiently!
