Ellie is about 10 months old, SUPER affectionate and cuddly. She loves to have her belly rubbed & will snuggle up against you whenever she can. She likes to be close to her humans, but does not have any separation anxiety when apart. Ellie does well in her crate, keeps it dry, and goes in & out freely when the door is open. She plays well with other dogs and is submissive when greeting them, She is respectful of the dog-savvy cat in her foster home. Ellie walks well on a leash and is food motivated which makes training fun. She weighs about 40 lbs. . She likes to carry stuffed animals around and enjoys chewing on Nylabones. Ellie's ideal evening involves curling up on the couch with her favorite humans to binge on Netflix. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Our best guess is that she is a Lab mix. She has a long, slender build. We expect her to reach about 45-50 pounds as an adult, but we can not guarantee size at maturity.
