About Macy - PENDING

Agility anyone? Excitable, spunky, energetic all describe this sweet Terrier mixed breed pup that was saved at the last minute from a S.C. shelter. Macy has been making great strides in her foster home since arriving in Vermont. Estimated to be close to a year old, Macy is the perfect sized dog at 30 lbs. She has soft, silky fur and walks with the cutest prance. Macy is athletic and highly food motivated which makes her a great training partner whether it be agility, Frisbee or fetch. She is currently learning to walk on a treadmill. Macy has been attending daycare regularly and enjoys playing with other dogs. She would do best in a home with a dog at her same energy level or with a tolerant older/calmer dog. Macy is reserved when meeting new people - she can be particularly nervous of new people coming into the home. If allowed to approach once she is ready, it usually doesn't take long for Macy to warm up and offer bouncy kisses. Macy is excellent in her crate, rides well in the car, house broken, and loves playing with her toys. Macy is very puppy-like and eager to please. While she's no couch potato, she does enjoy snuggling or laying on the back of the couch like her feline friends. Intuitive and sensitive, Macy has soulful eyes not to mention an amazing sit/stay. She will thrive with a confident, patient handler and in an environment where she is provided daily exercise, structure and stability. (No young children please.)
