About Apple

Apple was found as a stray by a family in Westmoreland. Though she was in poor condition and seemed severely under-socialized with humans, we searched for weeks to find her rightful owners but to no avail. I have been fostering her for about 6 months now and I think she's ready to find her own family! She would love to find an active family with no cats who would be dedicated to continuing her training. She is a high energy lady who gets along great with all other dogs. Although she is slow to warm up to new people, she is a very kind hearted and sweet girl. I'd say she's probably a bit much for a family with children or elderly members as she very much does not understand her size. She does well in her crate but does bark throughout the day so I wouldn't recommend her if you're a townhome or apartment dweller. She isn't much for playing toys but would enjoy going for walks and playing chase with some puppy siblings. Apple is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations and prevention. I believe her to be 2-4 years old and a purebred American English Coonhound! Let me know if you have any questions about this gorgeous girl or would like to meet her!
