About Foxy

Sept 2019 Update: Foxy is dog friendly!! She does great with dogs around her size and smaller. The shelter is normally full of big dogs, but we finally tested her with a smaller dog and she did AWESOME! July 2019 Update: Foxy has slowly started to adjust to shelter life. The shelter moved her kennel away from other dogs, and that has helped immensely. She loves hanging out with the volunteers and getting love and treats. She was even happy enough to let the volunteers give her a little 'pawdicure!' Foxy would do best as the only dog in the home. She corrects easily with a strong leader/handler. Poor Foxy is not enjoying shelter life one bit. We have seen her several weekends now and she still hasn't warmed up to her new digs. She is timid and scared, and wants reassurance from her human friends. She is very calm when out of the kennels and wants to be loved on. Foxy has not tested well with other dogs, but it could be due to her stress levels in the shelter. 2/4/19 (O)- Foxy is a female terrier mix. Approximately 1.5 yrs old. Weighs 29.8 lbs.
