About Snorkey

Snorkey has been with us all of his 13 years. He is a good boy and easy to take care of. We are finding him a new home because as he gets older he does not take well to my young children. He isn't violent but has become depressed and only wants to lay on my bed away from the kids. He is going blind and starting to lose his hearing. He would tolerate other dogs if they gave him his own space. I just had a new baby and it's hard to keep a close eye on my 4 year old around the dog. He doesn't intentionally hurt him but is very rough and tries to play with him. My baby is also having some skin issues that may be related to dogs. One of his legs has arthritis that acts up occasionally and he has a hard time walking but he isn't on medication. Snorkey isn't h happy here anymore. It breaks my heart to let him go but I know I'm doing what's best for him. He would do well in a family with older children, someone with no children or with an elderly companion. He loves to sleep, short walks, cuddles and lots of love. He has a collar, leash, blanket, food bowls, a new bag of food and his favorite bed and toy.
