About Bentley

Please help find Bentley a forever home. I have been fostering Bentley now for about 6 weeks. He is 1 year old He has a very loving and chilled temperament. He is goofy, funny and playful! Pretty laid back energy as long as he gets exercise daily. He loves to play in water so bath time is not much of an issue. He is smart and a great snuggler. He has Basic sit, stay, down, shake commands, he minds well and is easy to train when worked with. He is good with other dogs and really likes to play. He is curios and not destructive.. although he loves to take your socks for attention. And will try to grab your shoes when you come home and hand them to you. I have been retraining to get a toy instead and it is going well. He has been doing well at staying down and not jumping on you when you come home or if others come over. It is still a work in progress right now. He has been trained to run beside me in the bicycle to get some exercise he was over weight and depressed when I first got him. He had lost a lot of hair and was allergic to the food he was eating. He is now happy, playful and being waaayy more active. He hasn't been around small children to my knowledge so there is no reference of that. He is neutered and chipped. Bentley is a really great dog and I am excited to meet his forever family! Is it you?? He really needs a dog friend or someone who spends quality time with him to be his happiest. He spent a lot of time alone and loves the company of people and dogs. A yard is most necessary for him as well.
