About Sissy

Introducing Sissy, our 2nd female intake within the past few days. Sissy's previous owner is elderly, and her stepdaughter contacted us because she could no longer provide her with the proper care. Our volunteer went out to meet Sissy for an evaluation, and she found a VERY SWEET 2.5-year old female Neapolitan Mastiff living outside on concrete. Sissy has lived that way for most of her life, and she's very eager for love and attention. Sissy has cherry eye in both eyes, and struggles with her vision as a result. She also has multiple sores on her legs and feet, and hyperkeratosis as a result of living on concrete. Sissy is currently with one of our fosters in the St. Louis, MO area, and she has already made herself at home with multiple mattresses and couches to pick from! We are excited to learn more about her personality, as she is a very sweet girl that tested well with a large male dog and cats. Sissy will be going back to the vet this week for an evaluation of her cherry eye and to schedule her spay surgery.
