About Ginger

Adoption Fee: $100
Domestic Cat
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Ginger is a beautiful, sweet and loving 14-year-old, female white patch tabby looking for a loving guardian. This girl lived happily and doted upon with a couple in their 90's. The woman, until her death last year, used to walk Ginger down the street on a leash. Her husband also adored Ginger. When he suffered elder abuse at the hands of his son, the man went to a nursing home and Ginger came to Friends of Petraits Rescue. She absolutely loves people of all ages including children. She is comfortably sharing a room in my home with another senior cat. She tolerates dogs, but they might not be her favorite. She is very well-behaved in the home, uses her litter box perfectly, and although she has all her claws, she is not destructive. She likes to roll with her catnip toys and sit on the shelf of a small cat tree. She is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, virus-tested negative, micro-chipped, and has had full bloodwork and urinalysis; she is perfectly healthy. Her adoption fee of $100 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting Ginger, please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. She is currently living in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
