About Yaya (west)

Hi, my name is YAYA - ID#A4296876. I am a female, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 49 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Aug 07, 2019. Yaya is a 6 year old mama who is learning to trust again. She runs around and play bows to volunteers while she's in the yard. She crawled to handler and allows petting. Yaya likes hot dogs and takes treats oh so gently. Yaya also knows 'sit'. She doesn't know how to walk on a leash yet or is too scared to do so. She is slowly coming out of her shell. Yaya will need a quiet patient home to help her to become the dog she can be. No young kids until we can determine if she would be safe with them. Unless an outlet is found for Yaya in the next few days, her life may end soon.
