About Dylan (East)

Pit Bull / American Bulldog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hi, I am Dylan and my ID # is A4291965. I am in Mesa, AZ at the MCACC East shelter and I am adoptable. Do you want to be my new family? I love humans and seek attention in a happy energetic way. I would love to learn to be the best doggy. I just need someone to take the time to train me. I think I am a lap dog but if you don't like that you can train me. I am only 4 years old and really want to learn how to be the best doggy family member you could ever have. I did well with my doggy evaluation. I tried to jump on the other doggy but when they yelled(barked correction) at me I listened and I settled down to coexist. I may need a little training to learn how to socialize better with other doggies. I don't know how I am with older kiddos since I haven't met any since I have arrived at the shelter but any human is a good human. Right? I may be a bit too much for little ones since I don't know that jumping to get attention is a bad thing yet. I may be best with kids over 12. So bring your other family members doggy and human in to meet me. I would really love that. I have been here waiting for my new family to find me since 7/31/19. They think I am a 4-year-old white and brown American Pit Bull Terrier/American and Bulldog mix. I am scheduled to be added to the euthanization very soon so I need to find my furever family ASAP. For help with adopting or fostering me, please CALL the helpful and caring volunteers at 520-800-4633 ASAP! Don't forget MY name is Dylan, my ID # is A4291965 and I am at MCACC East. Please have this info handy when you call. And if you have to leave a voicemail please leave them on there. If you can't adopt or foster me please share me with your friends, family and social media. You could be saving my life. Thank you for reading about me! Hope to see you soon, Dylan #A4291965 Dylan #A4291965 loves his humans. He is a handsome and smiley boy who can be on the exuberant happy side when it comes to hanging with his peoples. He may jump a bit on you to get attention and pull on his leash because no one has taken the time to invest in him and teach him manners. He is willing to learn new things and just needs to find the right human(s) who have the patience and time to do that so he can be his best self. He currently has a cold and seems to be responding to the additional meds but could be at risk if he doesn't fully resolve at the end of his treatment. He will need a little time to get well and decompress before he is the best version of himself. He is estimated to be a 4-year-old white and brown American Pit Bull Terrier/American and Bulldog mix.(this is just an educated guess). DYLAN'S DOG EVALUATION: he was slightly stiff, high posture during fence greeting with social female dog, piloerection; on leash, greeted, inspected other dog, continued piloerection, appeared to soften slightly/tried to jump on the other dog, eventually settled, tolerated other dog barking correction at him- did not react, was able to coexist with leash dropped. #A4291965 Dylan is located at MCACC East: 2630 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa AZ 85201 or call 520-800-4633 for more info Be a hero!
