About Leah

Leah is a 3 year old female cat. Leah's owner passed away and the family placed her out on the busy streets where she had encountered attacks from other cats.A good samaritan noticed she was not able to defend for herself as she was wearing nail clips which are usually put on a cat to prevent scratching furniture and managed to bring her home. The person was not able to keep her as he had several dogs and brought her into the shelter. One week later,Leah is listed to be euthanized due to the lack of space. Leah will need time to feel comfortable in new surroundings and needs a patient person. She is doing very well in her foster home roaming the house and enjoys watching the wildlife on a perch her foster family set up. Leah needs a patient person who will give her time to settle into her new home. She does like to take treats from your hands and eats canned and dry food. She is a beautiful cat who was obviously looked after well by her owner but being out on the streets for a few weeks to defend for herself made her nervous. Please come and meet this beautiful girl to give her a forever home.
