About Queen Anne

Hello, my name is Queen Anne. My rescuers call me Queenie for short. I am 7 years old. I am a Lab/Pit mix. I was found tied up to a poll on the clinic steps under weight and very pregnant. I had my puppies the day after I was taken into the rescue. They cared for me and my pups. I was spayed shortly after the pups were ready for adoption and after I was ready for the procedure. When I first arrived at the rescue I tested positive for heartworms. Since then I have undergone treatment and I am officially heartworm negative. I have a great personality. I love being rubbed down and given treats. I will need a sturdy fenced in area to run around in. I am a very affectionate dog and love giving kisses and hugs. I enjoy toys to play with and running around outdoors. I would prefer to be the only dog in the household and do not enjoy being around cats. If there is another dog in the household they need to be at least my size or larger. I prefer to have older children in the household as well. I am a very strong girl. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations as well.
