About Tayo

Hello, Tayo! No, he's not a little cartoon bus, just a sweet boy in need of a new home. Tayo is a 50-pound, 3-4 year old bully/terrier mix located in Andover, MA. He is one of those relaxed dogs whose favorite activities are cuddling and burying himself under blankets. If you have a warm lap, comfy couch, and own lots of blankets, please keep reading. We are looking for an experienced and patient owner who will give Tayo time to gain your trust. Once you're his person, there's nobody he would rather be with, but he'll need guidance meeting new people. To match his preference for calmness, Tayo would love a quiet home with a fenced-in yard and a quiet neighborhood for walking. He is a lower energy dog so you won't have to feel guilty about missing walks on those rainy or cold winter days. Tayo is very smart - he picks up obedience quickly and would love to learn more tricks. He needs an engaged owner who wants to keep up his training and help him adjust to new situations. He does well with older children or teens, and cats, too. He also does well with other dogs after proper introductions, but can get excited to meet them while leashed. He would benefit by having a nicely matched canine brother or sister to help with his bouts of separation anxiety. Tayo is a dream dog.
