About Gyspy

I recently took in a 5 year old unspayed female Dane that kept escaping her family's fence. She has had severe separation anxiety but we have been treating with meds and she's doing better but must be kenneled when we are away. We were told she was good with dogs her size, but she aggressively attacked my 9 year old Dane when we tried introducing them. She is great with all kinds of people (but would suggest children at least 10 or older and supervision). She requires a fenced yard with a hot wire or she will climb over or chew through the fence. She is housebroken, uses a doggy door, microchipped, and up to date on shots. She needs a home where she is the only dog and someone willing to work on her anxiety. We had hoped that another dog would calm her anxiety, but it did not. She has been good with cats, but I wouldn't trust her if the cat slaps or hisses at her. In all other ways she is a perfect lady.
