Kari is a super sweet 9 yr old lady but you would never guess it. She has had a tough life. She spent her life being passed around between 3 women in the same family. Within 3 months of each other, one of the women passed away, the second was moving across the country, and the third had become homeless. Kari found herself homeless and is at a shelter in Brockton MA.She is under-socialized because she was rarely given any opportunity to be off property. She loves to explore and finding new things she likes as if she was a pup. It is nice seeing her enjoying being a dog. But she does have low-confidence which is completely understandable and sensitive to sudden movements and sounds. After all this is all new to her after living such a sheltered life. She is becoming stressed in the shelter and her outlet is snapping at people if they come up to her too quickly. But that said, she can be redirected with a toy!! So we are looking for that special foster that has the patience and skill to allow her to gain confidence to simply be a dog and enjoy!!!
