About Sunny

Sunny is an 8 or 9 year old brown and white male border collie. We have moved and have less acreage here for him. He is a farm dog and guards our sheep well. He goes and rounds them up for us. Though he doesn't listen very well he understands sit, stay and get or get in your crate. He lives out of a dog house outside. We used to let him free range our farm but since we moved we can only let him in with the sheep. He will bark at predators. Unfortunately we can't keep him here. He doesn't like new people. We have ppl come pet the sheep through the fence and he is okay with that but will take him 3-5 days for him to like you enough where he will come out of his crate when you are around. He loves tummy rubs and being petted once he likes you. He is very submissive and will run in his dog crate if you yell at him. He is okay with other dogs but he try's to herd them so if it a more aggressive dog he would do better with. He must go to a farm only. He isn't an outside dog and will bust out a window if you lock him inside a house!
