About Blue

Hello. My name is Lucretia, and my heart breaks as I type this message. I currently own a 1 yr old Russian Blue male, whom we ironically named Blue, before we knew what his breed was! He's up to date on his shots, and we've have had him since he was 3 weeks old. The owner of Blue's mother couldn't keep the liter of kittens, and my sister thought it was be nice to bring home a kitten while I was out of the country....Needless to say, with our home already consumed by six people, and two dogs, I was NOT thrilled to have a cat added to the mix. But, Blue is no ordinary cat. He's a dog reincarnated! He loves to bathe (well, he's A LOT calmer than most cats in water), and he loves to held and scratched. He's definitely a 'lover', as he's good with children and other animals, although I haven't had him interact with other cats before, but I believe he'd be just as awesome. Anyway, as much as I love him, our living arrangements have changed. My sister has since moved back with our mother, who will not allow the cat to come due to space, and honestly, she just doesn't like cats. Shame, I know. Now, the task of finding another home for him has become mine. We had someone initially lined up to take him in, but at the last possible minute, they stopped responding to calls and texts concerning this, during which time, arrangements were already made for the utilities of the home to be turned off since no one would be occupying the residence . Now, Blue is in the vacant home, alone, with no lights or air conditioning. Everyday my fiance and I go by the house to feed him, and change his liter, however, once we surrender the keys to the property manager on Friday, August 30th, we will have absolutely no where to shelter him.
