About Gus

Hello, this is Gus! He is a grey male Mini Rex rabbit. I love this sweet boy so much but he hasn't been himself since he lost his mate/girlfriend in February. I'm not in the place to get another rabbit currently, but I really want what's best for him, and I'm sure now that he would be happier with a companion in a home that can give him lots of love. He is used to being indoors during the fall-spring and outside in the summer to play in the grass. He's a very bossy affectionate boy. He only nips when he's annoyed with you, but he's never bruised me or broken skin, and he's only done it 2-4 times since I've had him (two years.) His last girlfriend was a black female lop who was very dominant but even tempered. I think he would do best bonding to another female rabbit around his size (5lbs). He is great with his litter box and never has accidents but he is used to having a room / run inside so he can lounge about. I really want him to find love again and be happy with a friend since I'm not able to give that to him for the foreseeable future. Experienced rabbit owners only please as rabbits are not the simple pets people sometimes think they are.
