About Sookie

Sookie is a beautiful, playful, feisty and fun eight-month-old, seven-pound, female white patch tabby with golden eyes looking for a loving guardian. This tiny cat makes up for her size with her lion-like personality. She takes a little while to warm up to people, but when she does, she gives you her all. She is fearful at first and reaches out with her paw, but doesn't hurt you or bite you �'�| it's all show! Found on the side of the highway as a tiny kitten, an animal-lover brought her home and hid her from her landlord �'�| six months later, the landlord found out and made her get rid of her beloved pet. She currently lives with me �'�| and she hisses as a defense mechanism, but really does live in harmony with all the creatures in my household - dogs and cats. She is very well-behaved in the home, uses her litter box perfectly, and although she has all her claws, she is not destructive. She is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped, treated with revolution and virus-tested negative. Her adoption fee of $100 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue.
