About Fozzie

I'm Fozzie, and I'm here to tell you how great my life has been! My lucky momma was rescued by SWESR, so my litter mates and I were born into rescue. That's about the best story a rescued dog can tell, right? I'll be six-months old right after Christmas and have had only one bad day in my whole puppy life. I don't like to talk about it much, but you probably want to know about that one bad day, right? It was a dark and stormy night. No, wait. That's not how my story goes. It was a bright sunny day, and I was wrestling with my litter mates when ZAP, ZING, OUCH!! The fire ants had attacked! My soft, plump puppy belly turned red and itchy. So much itching. It was a really bad day. SWESR got me the medical care I needed, but because I was just a puppy, I've had a couple of itchy 'flash backs' and needed to stay in foster care a bit longer. I'm all healthy now though, and ready to be your forever Setter. When I get to your house, I'll be happy to run and play in your securely fenced yard. If you have another dog, that would be awesome! Because I'm a puppy and need lots of exercise, I'll plan on two to three hours of fun every day. At the end of the day, I'll snuggle up with you on the couch. My awesome foster family has made sure I'm crate trained and mostly house trained. I live with a cat, but have only been around it in supervised situations.
