Midnight is an 1 year old border collie that was surrendered to the shelter for catching chickens. When we pulled her we realized she had a leg injury. Our best guess is she was kicked VERY hard which caused damage to her leg. She was treated at the vet and after weeks in a cast, she still has mild muscle atrophy and occasional lameness. She does not seem to be in any pain. After physical therapy and acupuncture we have seen marked improvement. She will always have a slight limp but it's not causing pain. She is house and crate trained and walks nicely on leash. She loves to play with other dogs. ABSOLUTELY NO CATS or small animals as her prey drive is high. She is a very happy girl that tries hard to please her humans! Thanks for your interest in our adoptable dogs. All of our dogs are in private foster homes and therefore require an approved adoption application prior to setting up a meet andå%A0greet. You may fill out our adoption application by clicking theå%A0link below.å%A0https://form.jotform.com/millerscause/mcar-adoption-application-form-v320 We do allow out of state adoptions however transport is limited and many of our dogs require in person meet and greets. Please read each bio carefully as most dogs do require a fenced in yard, another doggy playmate, or cannot be placed in a home with children. If the bio doesn't specify, please ask if you need clarification.
