About Milo

Milo was unbelievably left behind by his family when they moved. We have no idea how that happens, but, he is safe with our rescue now. He is about 6 years old, weighs about 30 pounds and is on diet of limited calories and exercise to loose his excess weight. So his new family must be committed to continue this. He is an extremely friendly dog, who is well socialized with other dogs and people. He does really well with children. He is crate trained, and potty trained. He loves to go on his walks, and we want his new family on board for continuing to do that. He loves to play fetch, and loves playing with his toys, so he is going to be a really fun dog to have! He is a cuddler, but doesn't like to be picked up. He's a really easy going dog, and is going to make a family really happy. He just had a fatty tumor removed as well as a dental, so he is ready for his new home! If you are interested in meeting him, let us know! We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, this dog may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium puppy food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes . Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
