About Hunter

Hunter is around 2-3 years old and a gorgeous boy with very cool eye mask! He is not your typical husky at all. He is not an escape artist, doesn't jump walls, not very vocal and is easy to keep close by off leash. He's a very loving and chill dog but very dominant and responds better to positive reinforcement and treats. Hunter does have a bite history but he was sent to a trainer for 3 weeks with a 2-week intensive bootcamp training to help understand his behavior and he was a camp favorite! The trainer says he's adoptable and feels more comfortable for him to go to a husky savvy home with older kids, a couple, preferably a single person in the home. He tends to favor and bond quickly with men more. He loves to play with other dogs but can also be dog selective and play a little rough. The trainer thinks it's best to have him as the only pet in the home. He is not small dog or cat friendly as they do spark up his husky prey drive. He's protective over his food but takes treats very gently. He walks great on a leash, likes walks and hikes and to be active but also loves to curl up on the couch with you or play with his toys.
