Syd is a fun, sweet, energetic and lovable, four-year-old, 58-pound, male Boxer/Am Staff-mix looking for a loving guardian. Syd loves playing with his female dog friends at the rescue - especially Taffy. He is best in a home without cats. His tail is always happily wagging and he walks around with a huge smile on his handsome face. Syd knows the command sit and takes treats gently from your fingers. Syd is such a fun companion but has no use for tennis balls and is not much of a fetcher. Rescued in Marion, Illinois, he was brought to Chicago by Lucky Dog Rescue where he'd have a better opportunity to find a loving family back in May of 2017 and he is still waiting. He is crate-trained and appears to be housebroken. To meet and possibly adopt Syd, please contact Melia at [email protected] for an adoption application. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. He is being fostered in Chicago.
