About Spice

Hi preferred to use Elkhound site to do this . My computer got screwed up . Site will not let me back in . Anyhow I need to rehome my dog . She just turned 5 last month . Got her as a pup . Was able to not have to use a crate to train her to go outside . She is good in kennel ,at least when I had to do it . She came into home with 4 older cats . No blood was ever spilled .One cat used to come and force her to play with her . I was and am retired . So she gets food 3 times a day .No more than 1/2 bowl of dog food total . 1 Chew stick at same time each day . A small treat if I have to go out then another when I come home for being good . When I eat dinner I give her a little taste . But for ME I could leave whole plate on coffee table and will not touch . I ask her if she needs to out and she lets me know . But also lets me know when she has to . Good through the night ,but she will move to different areas . She is considered Silver/black in color . She hears a pin drop , and has great nose and eyes as far as I know . The ? is why such a great dog you are willing to let go of her? I got my first elkhound at the pound .They said she had to be taken from a GUY who abused her . Said not maybe your best choice as she did not like men . Went up to cage she came over and licked my hand . That was all I needed . I named her Sugar . She was about 3 . Had that dog for 13 more years . My girlfriend and I were together for 10 years . She was going to retire and so was I . But she came down with leukemia shortly after I got Spice . I now live alone and my health is in ? . I have seen what happens to a dog if a person dies alone in a home . Sorry this is not like 1962 anymore . I don't really no neighbors . At the same time my health is not looking better. I have to down size once again and can no longer afford to own any pet . I DO NOT WANT ANY MONEY !!! I just want a place for my girl . My time frame is to do this is limited as I will have to move . They do have good shelters around Pittsburgh (mostly Rotwielers ) ,But really don't want to go that way. Note yesterday NORTON blocked to emails sent through this site . So I will only accept phone calls !!!!!
