Your application stays with us for 90 days, so if you miss out on this one.. keep looking, we want you to rescue a dog!!�'�� STEVIE �'��Stevie was adopted but returned because he is going blind. Adopters' boys would throw the ball and Stevie would slam into the wall. Her vet advised that Stevie needs to be with another dog. Since this was not an option for this family, she returned him. Absolutely he will not go to a home with a larger dog that will intimidate him or that could hurt him Stevie is a 3 yr old handsome boy who is a Poodle mix! He was turned over to our rescue by his owner, with the assumption that he was 'blind'.�'�� We were also told that he bumped into their other dog and a fight broke out, and he was attacked by the larger dog in the home and the dog took the top corner of Stevie's ear off. The ear is healing, and a suave is being applied daily. Stevie came with some attitude when he 1st was introduced to the fosters dogs. They are all small, but he was scared and defensive. NOW, there was no problems and he has adapted nicely with them. Of course, he was most likely intimidated and being properly introduced got him back on track that he didn't need to fear them.. He is a true love bug. He enjoys a nice car ride and behaves in the car. Not a barker (foster has only heard him bark a few time, when appropriate to bark). He goes up and down steps in the 2 story home without problems. We don't know what he would do with a pool, as the foster doesn't have one. Stevie weighs in at 20 lbs. We were told he was a maltipoo, but we are not seeing any maltese in this gorgeous boy. But, we do see Poodle mix. He has a beautiful buff coloring and some apricot coloring under the sun. He likes to sleep in bed with you, and if you won't allow him on the bed, he wants to sleep in in your room on the floor. This boy is extremely loyal and loveable...he will follow you wherever you go. He loves sitting next to you on the couch, but not so much on your lap. He has mastered the doggie door for potty.�'�܉'�� He is neutered, current on DHPP shot, Rabies shot, and he is also microchipped. Stevies' adoption fee is set at $250.00. If you are interested in Stevie, PLEASE complete an application. Most everything we know about our dogs is in the bio..so please read it so you know what the dog is like and if it will fit your lifestyle. Once an application is received, it will go in that dog's file for review.
