About Charlie

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Utd on Rabies but distemper is due Charlie is showing signs of aggression. He bit my husband yesterday over food and we can no longer trust him around our toddlers. He has been through simple training and knows all the basics. He did not growl or warn before he bit. We never expected this and don't know what to do. If he is t taken by someone who is able to rehabilitate behavior we will have to put him down. He bit my son last year but the circumstances were different. They were wrestling and my son got too rough. Charlie showed immediate submission and remorse at that time. Charlie has one hind knee that pops out of place sometimes. If he is commanded to sit, it pops back into place. I marked this as arthritis. Charlie does not show aggression, but since he has bitten I marked aggression as a health issue. Charlie has been raised with other dogs but shows aggression towards strange dogs. However in the few times he has escaped the fence, he ignored them and went exploring. I don't know how he really is with strange dogs. Charlie does not react well to POC but has never bitten one. He has never hurt the kids but this recent bite has us unsure of his compatibility with kids.
