Found @ S 24th St & E Wood, PHX Next Door Zip Code: 85040 Pretzel is the CUTEST little WIGGLE BUTT! ���%8D He came in as a Stray out of Phoenix & like SO many others his Owners never came for him so he is now fighting a doggie cold he is having a hard time kicking in the stressful Shelter environment. He has now started his 2nd anotbiotic & seems to be showing improvement, but is so far still listed as At Risk :( Pretzel is listed by the Shelter as an only 5 year old Pittie Mix, now neutered but came in without a microchip or wearing a collar. He is a petite 50lbs & was VERY gentle taking some yummy snacks with wiggle butts standing, sitting, & laying down! Then he decided he just wanted some pets and love, SO sweet! :) His doggie evaluation notes indicate he explored the yard on a leash & coexisted with an energetic female dog! When the other dog approached to greet this dog he barked at the other dog. They coexisted & explored, but he appeared to prefer coexistence & may be undersocialized. Based on his behavior so far in the Shelter, Pretzel may be best as only dog or would benefit from training/socialization! You think he is named that because of all the shapes his kisser can do? Maybe, I'm not sure where it came from but I do know he is a total cutie! He smiles for treats, sits when asked and is a super wiggly kind of guy. He has had a cold at the shelter and is having trouble getting over it. He would do so much better if he were in a home environment. He is a great age at about 5 yrs old. He did coexist with another dog but was a bit uncomfortable.
