About Roosevelt (west)

Hi, my name is ROOSEVELT - ID#A4281054. I am a neutered male, brindle and white American Staffordshire Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jun 30, 2019. Roosevelt is a dog most people would just walk on by. He sits in his kennel looking stoic and mysterious. He is shy but a really great dog deep down. I took him out to the play yard where he was a little standoffish but but would come over and take treats gently. Roosevelt was non reactive to other dogs in kennels, and I found out he knows 'sit', 'down' and 'stay'. He does need some socialization, but did well in his dog evaluation. He is a very handsome brindle pitty, and would be the star of the neighborhood. Roosevelt has been at the shelter much too long, and now is at risk to be euthanized.
