About Jenny

Jenny was recently adopted from the shelter, where she'd come in as a stray. Not much was known about this poor girl, except that she was afraid of everyone and everything. She stayed in the back of her kennel and tried to hide under her bed if anyone came near. I took her home and she opened up into a fantastic dog with a great temperament and goofy personality. She loves toys of all kinds, but especially squeaky tennis balls!! Here's a quick list of things you may want to know: + Crate Trained - Separation Anxiety - will chew beds/blankets in crate. Haven't tried to let her have free run due to the cat issue. + Working on basic commands + knows 'sit', 'Wait' (at doors), learning 'down' + Gentle - does not jump, though she doesn't realize she's 50lbs and will knock someone over playing + Great on a leash + Excellent with other dogs - Fearful of people, but non-aggressively so. Will run from strangers, but bonds quickly to her people. + Up-to-date on ALL shots, microchipped, and spayed I would love for her to get a home with someone who has other dogs she can play with and learn from. She is great with my 9lb dog and loves playing with all of the neighbor's dogs! I also ask that she come back to me in the event an adoption doesn't go well, and request the microchip stay in my name so I know she always has a home should the unthinkable happen. I will have adoption papers for her, including her health and shot record, and will help transfer all tags to the Adopter. If there are any questions, please shoot me an e-mail!
