About Grant

Meet Grant: he is a 4 and a 1/2 yo pup in need of a FUREVER HOME! Grant is a fantastic pup! His original owner could not keep him due to human circumstances. A family friend stepped in to help Grant out temporarily and took him in without hesitation. Sadly, Grant is still in need of a permanent home. His person says he has done fantastically and knows that Grant will make someone very happy. About Grant: *4.5 years old *Healthy, and up to date on vaccines/ vetting *Description: 'Total goofball' and 'Playful' and 'Will make you smile every day' *Since the beginning, has always been skiddish around objects such as brooms and will hide under the table when afraid. *Very food motivated and loves to be spoiled with some human food! *He is house trained (used a crate when younger, did not like, but is not destructive and no accidents out of the crate). Socialization: *People: loves his humans, but timid around strangers/ new people and takes a little time (yummy treats help) to warm up �٪� *Children: has not lived with, but has met. Would need to be evaluated further. *Dogs: friendly when 1:1, but scared in a large group of dogs such as a dog park- no altercations with other dogs. *Cats: unknown (has never lived with). Would need to be assessed. Type of home needed: *Needs a normal schedule of sleep, play, eating and exercise. *Would do well in a home where someone works, but will need moderate exercise outside of work hours. *Needs his humans to keep loving him and also let him know that new humans are okay too!
