We rescued Apollo and Franklin over a year ago and as much we have tried they do not get on with our other cats who we had before. He is very dominant and seems to have an obsession with our female cat she's petrified of him,he's also a very big cat 18lbs. We think he must of lived with dogs before we rescued him as he loves to play with a ball he puts it in his mouth and lays it down to you. He's very loving and will sit on your lap and give you kisses. He's got tons of character and we don't want to give him up but our other cats who were with us first have to come first and as hard as it is feel it's best for all the cats including Apollo that we find him a better fit. We are not sure of his breed we were told ragdoll when we rescued him, we are guessing a mix of Maine coon and ragdoll but he is not remotely docile like many ragdolls.I feel he will not do well as an only animal home and will be better off with other animals but only animals with some attitude that will not let themselves be dominated by him. If you care about your furniture Apollo is not the cat for you. EDIT: A lovley person messaged me and says Apollos breed is a Siberian cat and after doing some research I feel that may be correct
