About Rocky (and Buddy)

Adoption Fee: $495
Chihuahua / Dachshund
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Rocky is an adorable Chiweenie who is 4-1/2 years old and weighs 12-1/2 lbs. He and his brother Buddy are bonded and must be adopted together. They are being fostered in Dunedin, Rocky is a very sweet, mellow fellow. Rocky and his brother Buddy, who have been together their whole lives, are just so happy to be in their foster home, safe and loved. At only 4 %BD%BD years old, they have been though a lot already. When their owner died and no family member could take them they ended up living outside in a hot metal shed. That all changed and life became so wonderful for them the day they became United Yorkie Rescue dogs. He loves his foster mom and dad very much. He likes to sit with them on the couch. He especially loves to cuddle up with his foster mom. In spite of all this Rocky and Buddy are super dogs. Rocky's foster parents learned that Rocky is playful and loving. Giving kisses is one of his favorite things to do. Rocky and his brother enjoy a good game of fetch, tug the toy, as well as running around the backyard together. They get along with other dogs and even with the cat in their foster home. Rocky is a good car rider and a good eater. Unfortunately no one took the time to previously leash train or house train him. His foster parents are working on that. He is learning, but it will take more time and patience. Rocky and Buddy are very bonded to each other and have to be adopted together. They can sometimes be found giving each other a bath. These boys sleep next to each other when they rest during the day and at bedtime at night. They will cuddled up together on the couch. Could anything be sweeter or cuter? Buddy and Rocky are both so well behaved with their friendly and engaging personalities. If you want double the fun, double the love, and double the kisses these boys will make a wonderful addition to your family. They would be fine in a home with kids over the age of 9 too. Anyone family that gets to adopt these young boys will be the luckiest dog owning family ever. In fact they will be doubly lucky!
