About Lucy

We have to rehome our 18 month old Australian Shepherd. We are being forced to move and Lucy needs A LOT of space. She's up to date on all shots, spayed and chipped. She's house trained and crate trained. She has been through behavioral training. Lucy is awesome, she loves to catch balls and frisbees and knows a ton of tricks. She's very protective of her family, (her herd) and she thinks it's her job to protect us. However!! She also is super high anxiety, needs a full backyard and lots of room and TIME to run and play. She currently takes medication for her anxiety when needed, but I feel like if she was out in a place she could run around she might not need medication. She's special, and will need time and patience, and we need a special person to love her. She's nervous and not nice at first. After Hurricane Michael, she went and stayed with my uncle for a few weeks. He said it took about a week to get her used to him :(
