About Bimini

Beautiful Bimini is begging me to her a home! She was rescued from a park in April, 2019 where I rescued 30 bunnies from. She was lucky to survive predator attacks (coyotes, hawks, owls, raccoons, feral cats) and speeding cars. Sadly, not all of her siblings were so lucky. Bimini was adopted in April at the age of five months (and a small three pounds) and returned three months later at age of eight months (fully grown at five pounds). Bimini did nothing wrong and through no fault of her own she is back at the rescue. Despite me THOROUGHLY educating her first adopters, they simply were not prepared to care for a bunny and thought it was too much work. They thought changing bunny box twice a week was too much. So, while in their care, Bimini had lots of attention from the family. Back with me at the rescue with 100 rabbits, I simply cannot give her the love she knew for three months. So unfair to the sweetest of buns craving to be loved. She has good litter box habits, comes to the edge of her x-pen to greet you, doesn't squirm to get away, will sit on your lap for endless love. She is super cute, curious and inquisitive. She would be OK as a single bun or may want a husbun for a friend. If Bimini can't be free roaming or live in a room or a section of a room, then an x-pen enclosure or home made DIY grid system enclosure is a suitable alternative. A cage/hutch is not recommended. * * * * * * * * * * * * * Bimini can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore. Or, delivery is also available to greater Southern California region. The adoption fee is $60 which only covers the cost of her spay surgery. Any additional donations to keep the rescue afloat are appreciated.
